Encore! Free Seminar on Flower Arrangement & Advanced Courses 

Due to insistent public demand, The Flower Cart will be offering once again a series of Flower Arrangement Seminars during the weekends of July & September. (July 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27 & September 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17) Owing to the tremendous success of their previous seminars, they have developed new advanced courses. And the special request of many previous participants will be granted this time…for the seminars will be conducted in a bigger space and a more accessible location in Greenhills. 

FREE INTRO COURSE 

The Flower Cart has half-day introductory courses which will cover flower handling, the meaning of flowers and basic flower arrangement techniques. Their aim is to heighten a person’s awareness on the care and appreciation of cut flowers. It is a comprehensive workshop for anyone who enjoys being surrounded by flowers in their homes or offices or giving floral gifts. It also serves as a preview for those interested in the flower business. The introductory seminar is free of charge except for the minimal fee on materials they would use to make their own arrangements. 

BASIC COURSE 

This course is a full day comprehensive workshop on arrangement designs & techniques. Here, one will learn all the general rules he needs to know about arranging as well as learn to be able to distinguish a good arrangement from a bad one. This is a prerequisite to all advanced/professional courses. In this course, participants are expected to master basic arrangements using different kinds local & imported of flowers and containers. A seminar fee of P1600 includes lunch, certificate, several pots & vases, floral foam, several bundles of different kinds of flowers, handouts, scissors & cutter, & other materials. After taking this course you may want to learn how to make gifts out of flowers & how to arrange flowers the way a professional florist does. 

Participants may bring home all excess flowers & arrangements made during said workshop. All seminars will be held at the Debutantes & Bridal Lounge at Ciudad Fernandina Building in Eisenhower Street, Greenhills, San Juan.
